Magical Wedding at Historic Grand Sofar Hotel in Lebanon
They say youth is a gift of nature, but age is a work of art. There’s something timeless and effortlessly romantic about a venue with history in it’s bones. Amused by the Grand Sofar’s historic charm & unique architecture, Dima & Patrick spent 8 months planning their magical affair along with their talented planner, Jessy Karam from Strawberries and Champaigne. Wearing a custom made dramatic and iconic ball gown silhouette, elevated with a ruffled puffy tulle skirt, beautiful bride walked down the aisle under a mesmerizing floating golden leaves installation to match with the gilded theme. For a glam boost, huge gold candelabras lined the wedding aisle creating a focal point that made the ceremony look oh so perfect.
The enchanting ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour, before the 100 guests were assisted to take their seats at lavish floral-filled tables, surrounded by appealing cragged walls, torn floor and a timeless atmosphere that is undeniably steeped in history. The ceremonial cake cutting followed dinner, accompanied by an eruption of gold confetti to get the party started, with the bride and groom making their dancefloor debut to Adagio by Lara Fabian & Majida EL Roumi.
