A jewellery designer with an innate appreciation for art, Noor wove a narrative that seamlessly merged contemporary sophistication with timeless tradition. The result? An Artist’s Vision: The Venue & Setup
Choosing One & Only Royal Mirage was no coincidence. The venue’s architecture—marked by grand arches, intricate detailing, and an interplay of light and space—mirrored Noor’s passion for design, offering the perfect backdrop for an intimate yet deeply layered experience. The setting was transformed into an artistic tableau, where maximalist charm met curated elegance.
Instead of a conventional white wedding, Noor envisioned an atmosphere rich in personality and depth. Vibrant floral arrangements framed by deep blue table linens created a striking balance—bold yet harmonious, dynamic yet deeply poetic. The design, curated by Zainab Alsalih of Carousel Events, was a testament to Noor’s ability to appreciate contrasts: color and neutrality, structure and fluidity, modernity and nostalgia.
But for Zainab, this wedding was far more than a creative endeavor—it was deeply personal.
“A small, intimate wedding—easy, right? I’ve planned hundreds of weddings, so this should have been a breeze. But planning family weddings comes with its own set of pressures. I wanted to weave their personalities, cultures, and most importantly, the warmth of love into every detail. Being both the groom’s sister and the wedding planner meant my stress levels were high, but thankfully, I had an incredible team that made everything seamless. In the end, I was able to truly enjoy the day, watching my brother and his fiancée celebrate in a way that felt entirely their own.”

As an artist who understands the weight of details, Noor’s bridal look was a masterclass in restraint and refinement.
She embraced a timeless silhouette with a dress from Bridal Atelier—its architectural lines reflecting her appreciation for form, while its effortless movement allowed for an ethereal presence. The veil, delicately adorned with appliqué floral motifs, was a whisper of romance, subtly mirroring her jewellery craftsmanship—each petal an intricate, thoughtful touch.
Her jewellery, chosen from Kamyen Jewellery, spoke of understated luxury, while her Audemars Piguet watch added a touch of bold modernity. Her beauty look, crafted by Maggie Semaan and Jean Kairouz, stayed true to her essence—minimal yet evocative, enhancing rather than overpowering. Ahmad complemented her vision effortlessly, opting for a Gucci suit that redefined elegance beyond the traditional tuxedo.
Heritage Intertwined: The Celebration
Noor & Ahmad’s wedding was not just a union of two souls but of two cultures. The rhythmic beats of Emirati, Palestinian, and Iraqi zaffas brought an energy that was both celebratory and deeply meaningful—an homage to their roots, woven seamlessly into the fabric of their love story.
